

Born May 19, 1948 in Peoria to Thomas and Bertie (White) Sutton, she married Larry Dean Hoffert on June 24, 1966 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Troy (Tiffany) Hoffert of East Peoria; two grandsons, Matthew (Micayla) Hoffert of North Pekin and Mason Hoffert of Pekin; two great-grandchildren, Ameila Hoffert and Theodore Hoffert; her sister-in-law, Patty (Ron) Parmele of Mackinaw and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Connie formerly worked for many years at Chadband's Jewelry in the Pekin Mall, where she served as a buyer, last working in 1987. She also helped her husband’s aunt and uncle in their family business at Pekin Ceramics, serving as an instructor.
Connie found her greatest joy in watching her grandkids, which was an experience she considered the highlight of her life.
Connie also enjoyed sports and faithfully followed the Chicago Bears and the St. Louis Cardinals.
She was a member of Pekin Women of the Moose Chapter 673 and the Pekin Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
A gathering celebrating Connie's life will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2026 at the Pekin Moose Lodge 916. Private graveside rites will be held at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
