Born July 25, 1944 in Pekin to Benard and Mary Ann (Randalls) Mitchell, she married Richard King on September 7, 1963. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Curtis (Sonia) King and Sherri (Danny) Conner, both of Pekin; two grandchildren, Jestin (Sierra) Conner and Holly (Steven) Haulk; four great-grandchildren, Kayleen Conner, Hayden Conner, Emery Conner and Colt Conner; and one brother, Ben (Denise) Mitchell of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant son, Todd King and one sister, Benita “Bunny” Woll.
A homemaker, Corrine loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed working word puzzles, reading, and cross stitch. In her younger years she belonged to a bowling league.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Pekin First Church of the Nazarene in Pekin. Pastor Cheryl Sherwood will officiate. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at Groveland Evangelical Mennonite Cemetery in Groveland.
