The family will always miss her even when it was hard to see her go threw such pain at the end but the past year was hard for her to do all the cancer treatments for her.  I saw my mom a year ago and she looked good but I can tell their was more then what she was saying to me and my brother then she let on.  But that's the way she was. I would call her everyday to get ahold of her just to see how she was doing at that time of day.  I told my mom that me and pat aka husband to be that we were gonna try to have kids she was happy about being a grandmother and she could not wait for the first grandchild to be born but now she can not be their to hold the child but her spirt will be I love you ma.  I thank the people that was their for her at the end and the people that went into the house to clean up for her to come back to the apartment. I also thank my uncle Larry for taking her to the doctors and taken the dog.  Dawn and Matt thank you guys very much for being their and helping her out when she needed it thanks alot.

I had the pleasure of getting re-acquainted with Crystal her last year because she and Dan moved to Delavan to find work in January. We would get together on a regular basis and play Wii-golf or dominos or just have a tailgate cookout in my driveway. I am so glad I was able to bring her joy and help her have fun during the times her illness would allow it. I really admired her ability to endure all the problems that came her way. She was a real fighter. I loved her like my own and I miss her every day.

Crystal you are truly our angel and are greatly missed.  I always looked up to you and had fun with you when we were growing up going to either our Grandma Orton's house where we would pick berries out of the berry patch or to our Grandma McQueen's house and playing canasta.  I miss you very much and I thank God that you are with Grandma and Grandpa Orton and all of those that are there waiting for us to come with you.  I love you, your sister Denise.

To Crystal's family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Although we may have been apart many years, I will always remember Crystal as the oldest and leader of the pack of cousins. I rejoice in Aunt Sue's tribute that I am sure she is with our Lord and Savior. Her and Grandma Orton be there to fix the dinner (including the pies)upon our reunion in heaven.

I had the precious time the last day of Crystal's life to pray with her, and help her receive her future with our Lord and Saviour at her bedside. Some people would say she wasn't aware of anything going on around her. But I can tell you she knew we were praying for her salvation, and her sweet lips were going 90 miles an hour, right along with my prayers. I may have been the one speaking out loud, but I know, she was right there with me, saying her prayers, and accepting God. She will definitely rest in peace, and be there when we complete our personal journey to be with her and God in Heaven.

Everyone who had the privilege of meeting  Crystal loved her, including our staff at Home Health Care Plus.  Her courage in facing cancer was a testament to us all.  We were honored to help her with her health care needs as well as becoming her friends. 
   Ruth and Ruthie, please know that Crystal knew you both were on the way to her, and that you both would have been there with her if able.  This is what she wanted - for Ruthie to see that her son was OK before you both came down. Gods' plan didn't allow for the exact timing to work out the way we'd hoped and planned, but I know without a doubt Crystal is now soaring with the angels and smiling down at her loving family. 
   Please treasure this time with your family, and live each day as the gift that it truly is, as Crystal taught us!
