Born August 18, 1943 in Helena, Montana, he was the son of Harold and Ruth Esther (Starr) Parson. His parents preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Kurt Parson and Dennis Parson and two sisters, Sandra Bliss and Allene Gillette.
Surviving are three sisters, Karen Randall of Vancouver, Washington, Martha Smith of Ocean Park, Washington and Connie (James) Bickett of Anderson, Indiana and many nieces and nephews.
Private inurnment will be in Park Hill Cemetery in Vancouver, Washington. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
