

EAST PEORIA ~ Daniel Sinacori, 76, of East Peoria, passed away at 7:16 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017 at UnityPoint-Health Methodist in Peoria.
Born January 18, 1941 in Bristol, Pennsylvania to Rocco and Maria (Messina) Sinacori, he married Christina Flowers on May 11, 1968 in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are his daughter, Danelle Christina Sinacori of East Peoria; his son, Jason Rocco Sinacori of East Peoria; three nieces and eleven nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Russell Sinacori and Sam Sinacori; and five sisters, Agnes Piro, Josephine Bono, Rose Gesualdi, Cassie Anastasi and Frances Schlager.
Daniel had attended Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri in 1957. He worked with several gospel singing quartets including The Keystone Quartet, which he founded and the Vi Counts Trio, The Golden State Quartet and several others. He wrote the latest song about the city he loved called “Peoria”.
He wrote a book which he considered to be a biography and handbook for people entering the ministry entitled “My Journey…More Than Music”.
Daniel had served as an associate pastor for Calvary Temple in Springfield, Illinois in 1970 and later for the First Assembly of God in Peoria in 1974. He also had served as a youth pastor for the First Assembly of God in El Cajon, California. He was a co-founder of the Harvest Chapel of Venice in Venice, Florida in 2009.
Later, Danny became a pianist for renowned Evangelists Kathryn Kuhlman and Morris Cerullo. He ministered with Dr. Mark Buntain of Calcutta, India and was Dr. Jerry Falwell’s favorite musician.
He and his wife served as missionaries, going on five trips to Italy, Sicily, France and Germany.
His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God in East Peoria. The Rev. Fred Doughty and Pastor James Knight, Jr. will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017 at the church. Additional visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, prior to services at the church.
