Danielle Lynn Martin

Danielle was born on September 10, 1975 in Peoria to Daniel and Linda (Gardner) Mendenhall. She was preceded in death by her father; stepfather, John Ricks; one sister, Tammy Allen and one stepson, Troy Martin.

Surviving are her mother, Linda Ricks; two sons, Chase (Kaylee Shaw) Martin of Pekin and Trevor Mendenhall of Peoria; three stepchildren, Ryan (Tiffany) Martin, Stephanie Yund, both of Pekin, and Courtney (Brant Poole) Hutchinson of Louisiana; ten grandchildren, Johnny, Emmett, Elijah, Olen, Izabella, Kyndel, Aiden, Whit, Toby, and Cynthia; her significant other, Andy White of Glasford; one sister, Tina Huggins of Peoria Heights; three nephews, D.J. Huggins, Shawn (Taryn) Allen and Joey Williams and her beloved dog, Katie.

Danielle had worked as a bartender for many years, working at Racks on the Rocks and Boardwalk. Most recently, she had started working for Visiting Angels, an at home health service.

Family, especially her grandchildren, were the most important part of life to Danielle. While she enjoyed shopping, thrifting, and going to garage sales, Danielle also enjoyed fishing, dirt track racing, and riding four wheelers.

A gathering celebrating Danielle's life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
