Danny R McIntyre

Born September 30, 1952 in Aledo to John E. and Coralie "Coke" (Phalp) McIntyre, he married Sandra Brantley-Arrowsmith on December 20, 1990 in Pekin.  She survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Sommer McIntyre of East Galesburg, Tausha (Brody) Grice of East Galesburg, Wendi (Jason) Black of Tremont; two sons, Douglas (Tracey) Arrowsmith of Pekin, Chad (Kelly) Arrowsmith of Green Valley; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Duane and David; and one sister, Connie.

Danny worked for Iron Worker’s Local #112 in East Peoria as a Journeyman, retiring in 2005 after 30 years of service.

An avid Chicago Bears fan, Danny enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, with his horses, cutting wood, fishing and hunting coons.  He also enjoyed reading about and working on computers, old movies and hot buttered popcorn.

According to Danny's wishes, there will be no services or visitation.  Cremation will be accorded.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
