

Born July 27, 1949 in Eldorado to Van and Violet (Bradley) Perry, he married Marilyn Schultz on July 10, 1970 in Creve Coeur. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Andrew (Jessica) Perry of Peoria and Timothy (Kelly) Perry of Morton; two daughters, Molly Perry of Peoria and Megan (Michael) Davis of Pekin; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and one sister, Connie (Ron) Adkison of Creve Coeur.
His parents preceded him in death.
He served in the United States Army as a medic during the Vietnam War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
Dan worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for over 30 years, retiring in July of 2000 from purchasing. He then worked for G&D Integrated in Morton for 10 years. He currently was employed by LKQ Corporation.
His family meant the world to him and he especially enjoyed and loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed fast pitch softball many years ago. Danny was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Bears. He also enjoyed beach vacations and frequent trips to Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Dan was a former member of Sacre Coeur Catholic Church in Creve Coeur and of the Marquette Heights Men’s Club.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2017 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. There will be no funeral. Cremation has been accorded.
