To all of Darrah's kids, I unfortunately didn't get to meet your mom in person.  I did text with her a few times in regards to grandpa J.D. . In fact that is how I found out about her passing, thanks to Craig. We knew grandpa through music. We are musicians. I definitely know the emptiness you are feeling. I also can imagine how much you have to deal with.  Do know you are being thought of by many people that you don't even know. Hang in there!  Our deepest sympathy!

I was so sadden to hear of the loss of your mom. She was a very warm, and sweet lady.   🙏 

She blessed our hearts with her life, her laughter, and her love.. I will so miss my coworker, my all  things craft show buddy , movie goer companion , and anything else we could think up to do.. She was a blessing to me and I loved her..

Dear mom 
It has taken me a few days to get the courage to write this I just cannot believe this happened. You are a hero in my eyes your fight and drive to live was so strong. I know you were scared. As the days have passed  I feel completely empty like a huge hole has been left in my heart.  My whole life is just shattered to pieces all around me. The pain is palpable all around me. I have wanted to pick up the phone and call you so many times, but then I remember you’re not here anymore. I pray that you are at peace and with all of your loved ones up in heaven , because I know you were so scared. We were all scared. I’m 
going to  try my best for you mom to stay strong,  but I will miss you and think of you 
every day of my life. I don’t know how I’m going do it without you.  My mom, my best friend, my everything.

I'm so sorry for the family.   I have so many good memories growing up as next door neighbors to Darrah, Steve, Aimee, Ashley and Craig.   It was obvious she was an amazing mother and I give you my sincere condolences.   I cant imagine what you're going through.  I will be making a donation to TAPS as is requested in lieu of flowers and an amazing charity I believe in and is very obvious Darrah always has too.
