

Born April 21, 1947 in Pekin, he was a son of Arthur Russell and Marion (Schlobohm) Endicott. His parents preceded him in death.
Surviving are two sisters, Chris (Richard) Allen of Bartonville and Brenda Kucavik of Sun City, Arizona; three nieces and nephews, Scott Allen, Tina (Craig) Ori, both of Bartonville and Brandon Stone of East Peoria and five great nieces and nephews.
David was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He last worked for Learjet in Tucson, Arizona and previously worked for Keystone Steel & Wire Company.
David was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and was always working on Harley Davidson motorcycles as he was mechanically inclined. He also loved his time spent living in the desert.
His graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin. Pastor Jack Thompson will officiate. Military rites will be accorded by the United States Army and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
The family would like to offer a sincere thanks to the staff of the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy, especially the Schapper's unit, for their excellent care. They even graciously arranged a final Harley Davidson salute on the Monday before his passing.
