David B Halsted

Born July 2, 1961 in Peoria to Charles J. and Ruth (Hudson) Halsted, he married Beth Wolf on January 2, 1981 in Peoria.  She survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Michael P. (Jodi Martin) Halsted of Peoria, Joseph A. Halsted and Shane A. Halsted, both of South Pekin; three grandchildren, Devan, Samantha and Sydney Halsted, all of Peoria; and one brother, Steven F. Halsted of Arizona. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marsha.

David last worked for Krasiva Windows and Doors in Arizona for five years.  Previously, he had worked for Ray Dennison Chevrolet in Pekin for 12 years as a parts delivery man.

David was a simple man who loved the outdoors.  He enjoyed watching sunrises and sunsets and he loved watching the campfires dance while camping under the stars of the heavens.  He loved his family and his yellow lab, Jordan.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Cremation rites will be accorded.  Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with expenses.
