David E Nash

Born September 8, 1950 in Pekin to Jesse Ray and Opal Irene (Taylor) Nash, he married Diana Irene Henricks on November 21, 1971 in Peoria.  She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Tammy Lynn Nash of Pekin and Melissa Ann Nash of Mapleton; four grandchildren, Michael Robison, Devin Robison, Nicole Nash and Anthony Robison and one great-granddaughter, Katie Nash.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John Nash and Charles Nash and one sister, Patsy Covey.

David worked for Wal-Mart in East Peoria in their receiving department for 14 years, last working March 5, 2012.

He loved working on cars and putting models together.  David also was very good at drawing.

He was devoted to his family and enjoyed taking his grandchildren to Kartville in Peoria.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  Rev. Lauren Padgett will officiate.   Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
