David F. Pagliaro

Born October 12, 1951 in Pekin to William and June (Davey) Pagliaro, he married Cindy L. Pollman on March 12, 1983 in Pompano Beach, Florida. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Anthony "Tony" (Stacey) Pagliaro of Plymouth, Minnesota; one daughter, Angela Pagliaro of St. Louis, Missouri; one granddaughter, Shaelyn Pagliaro; one stepgrandson, Travis Gerber; two sisters, Ruth "Chickie" Pagliaro and Irene Pagliaro-Sturman, both of Vero Beach, Florida and many nieces and nephews.

He was a member of the Pekin Community High School Class of 1971.

Dave worked for the City of Pekin for 23 years, retiring in 2010 at the Superintendent of the Street Department. He had worked for R.A. Cullinan in earlier years.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing softball. He was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and New York Yankees.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. He also was a member of Knights of Columbus Archbishop Schlarman Council 3507 in Pekin, Pekin Moose Lodge 916, Pekin Elks Lodge 1271. Dave enjoyed wintering in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and especially spending time with family.

His private graveside service will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. No visitation is planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Illinois CancerCare Foundation, Tazewell Animal Protective Society or to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
