He was born September 29, 1967 in Pekin to David Eugene and Marsha Lynn (Workman) Wagner.
Surviving are his mother, Marsha Wagner of Pekin; one daughter, Kiera Lynn (Brandon Lundell) Rhoades of North Pekin; two aunts, Tammie Workman of Pekin and Jeanna (Don) Snedden of Manito; and cousins, Teri Fouts, Kayla Fouts, Daven Workman, Ryker Trumpy, Codie Snedden, and Nikki Daughtery.
He was preceded in death by his father on December 8, 2004 in Pekin; one uncle, Robert Workman; and one aunt, Terry Workman.
Wags had worked at Tazewell Machine and later was a painter at Barry’s Autobody, both in Pekin. He last worked for Roger Landrith Roofing.
Wags enjoyed music, painting, fishing, camping, nature, and hanging with family and friends. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a member of the AMVETS.
His memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
