Deanna Margaret Otto

Born July 15, 1972 in Peoria to Donald and Madeline (Lawless) Richards, she married Myron Otto on January 9, 2009. He survives.

Also surviving are her father, Donald Richards of Creve Coeur; four sons, James Baughman, Mathew Baughman, John (Deseree) Otto and Robert Pomeroy; three daughters, Madeline Baughman, Jennifer Otto and Ashley Otto; thirteen grandchildren; three brothers, Bg Myers, Terry (Julie) Richards and Larry Richards; three sisters, Darlene Grant, Betty (Terry) Keithley and Michelle (John) Sikes; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Madeline Richards.

A homemaker, Deanna always took on the role of caregiver. She was devoted to her family, children, and grandchildren. They meant the world to her and she meant the world to them. Deanna was a caring, compassionate woman who loved unconditionally. She enjoyed baking, cooking, crafting and spending time with her family camping.

A gathering celebrating Deanna's life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Creve Coeur Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4835, 628 South Main Street in Creve Coeur. A prayer will be held at 3:30 p.m. officiated by Pastor Robert Finley of Revive Church in East Peoria.

Cremation rites have been entrusted with Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
