Deborah Elizabeth Black

She was born in Peoria to Floyd and Caroline DeWester.

Deborah married Daniel Black in May 1973; he preceded her in death on May 23, 2021. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond DeWester and Floyd "Jerry" DeWester.

She is survived by her daughter, KaraLyn Black.

Deborah went back to school and graduated top of her nursing class in her 50’s and she lived for sitting on a lake fishing. Deborah was a devoted wife and mother. She will be greatly missed.

Her memorial visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory, 500 North 4th Street in Pekin. Cremation has been accorded.
