Debra K Larimore

Born July 11, 1957 in Pekin to Frank and Darlene (LeMasters) Handegan, she married Gary J. Larimore on December 24, 1993 in Morton. He survives.

Also surviving are her parents of Pekin; one daughter, Michelle Evans-Janson of Pekin; three sons, Timothy Evans of Pekin, Morgan Larimore and Nathen Larimore, both of Colorado; four grandchildren, Ethan and Brayden Evans, Ayden Janson and Maggie Larimore; two sisters, Joy (Tom) Davis and Kelly Galyean, both of Pekin, and one brother, Robert (Kala) Handegan of Morton.

Debra had worked for Caterpillar, Inc. as a Supervisor for 15 years, last working in November, 2012 due to her health.

She attended First United Methodist Church in Pekin.

Debra loved all children, particularly her children and grandchildren. She was often the “sports mom and grandmother” at baseball and basketball games. She had great pleasure in traveling and planning family trips with her kids and grandkids and she was a person that never met a stranger.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering at the Pekin Moose Family Center 916 Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 1 to 4 p.m. with a service at 2 p.m. Cremation will be accorded and burial of cremated remains will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
