She was born August 24, 1954 in Peoria, Illinois to Jesse and Pauline Clendenin.
Debra married Rick Scott on August 5, 2003 in Branson, Missouri. He survives.
She is also survived by three children: Richard (Stephanie) Curry, James Curry (Kellie Behrends), Leah “Rocky” (John) Richardson; two stepchildren: Rick II (Ashley) Scott, Carrie (Jeff) Arahood; grandchildren: Morgan Curry, Brady Curry, Jordynne Richardson, Jonas Curry, Eli Scott, Ethan Scott and Joshua Vaughn; brothers: Curtis (Fifi) Clendenin, Michael (Kay) Clendenin; and many nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by both parents, one brother Walter Clendenin and one granddaughter Madi Richardson.
Debra was a housekeeper for over 30 years. She loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, traveling, cooking, baking and spending time with her family and loved ones. She was a proud member of Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed researching her family heritage and genealogy. She won many awards and ribbons throughout the years at the Heart of Illinois Fair for her talent in cooking, baking and canning. She was always cooking something for anyone that would stop by and visit. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 1-2 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Mapleton. Pastor Kathy Barrett will officiate.
