Diana L. (Rupp) West

Born January 23, 1949 in Pekin to Orville and Marjorie (Blackburn) Rupp, she married G. Joe West on August 14, 2004 in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are five children, Margie Wyman of Pekin, Donna Longden of Mackinaw, Scott (Janice) Penning of Franklin, Indiana, Tammy Conway and Kathy West, both of Pekin; 36 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, James (Edith) Rupp of Pekin and one sister, Barbara (Jerry) Stark of Pekin. She also leaves her beloved Yorkie, Fonzie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Randy West; a son-in-law, Eugene Wyman and two sisters, Sharon Welch and Sally Chaney.

Diana worked at pet grooming for 35 years, many of those years owning and operating Poochies Palace in Pekin.

She always had a great sense of humor and fun spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed going to sales with her beloved sister and also fishing and camping.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Keith Moore will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
