Diane G. Gardiner

Born January 9, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio to Walter Edward and Willah Anitamae (Rinehart) Ball, she married George Eugene Gardiner on January 19, 1957 in Brookville, Indiana. He died May 31, 2012. She was also proceeded in death by her parents and one great-grandson.

Surviving are three sons, Kenneth Eugene Gardiner and Bradley Edgar (Colleen Ann) Gardiner, both of Pekin and Scott Edward Gardiner of Chandler, Arizona; four grandchildren, Mike, Matt, Stephen and Laura; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Doug, Ed, and Walter and two sisters, Delilah and Molly.

Diane worked for thirteen years as a seamstress at Pekin Hospital before retiring in 1988.

She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1869.

Her graveside will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Pastor John Vaughn will officiate. There will not be a visitation.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
