Pekin ~ Dianna Kay Summers, 82, of Pekin, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Carle Health - Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She was born on November 15, 1943, in Bloomington, a daughter of Marvin E. Hehman and Lucille (Buss) Hehman. Dianna married Lawrence Edward "Larry" Summers on October 26, 1963. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2025, in Pekin.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Bradley Summers.
Dianna is survived by her son, Scot (Susan Conner) Summers of Pekin; one granddaughter, Hayley Summers of Peoria; and one sister, Marva Gail Downen of Sherman.
Dianna last worked as a manager for Home Depot in Mesa, Arizona.
There will be a family arranged celebration of life gathering at a later date. Details will be forthcoming.
Cremation has been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
