

Born January 3, 1929 in Peoria to Jess Lamonte and Marion Ruth (Grant) White, she married Donavon A. Diveley on March 21, 1953 in Pekin. He died March 13, 1998 in Creve Coeur. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson; two sisters and one brother.
Surviving are six daughters, Dianna Dick of Green Valley, Roberta (Roger) Hazen of Eureka, Crystal (William) Cosby and Paula (Allen) Baker, both of Rutland and Doneta (William) Pleasant of Germantown Hills and Sandy Hall of Toledo, Kansas; two sons, Darren Diveley of Creve Coeur and Donavan Bruce (Doreen) Diveley of South Bend, Indiana; twenty-six grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret “Peggie” Lundy and Bonnie (Wayne) Tomlinson, both of Peoria; and two brothers, Richard (Josie) White of Elkhart, IN and Byron Stockman of Peoria.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Dolores was willing to help anyone and everyone. She also enjoyed cooking, reading and watching soap operas.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
