Donald L Beever

Born June 26, 1934 in Pekin to Wallace and Mary Elizabeth (Douglas) Beever, he married Joyce Ann (Gire) on December 19, 1960. She survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Marian Morris, Ruth Ann K. Beever and Jeannette (Jason) Amick; four grandchildren, Becky, Randy, Derek, Jessica; six great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jackson, Aliyah, Landen, Hunter, Cole; one sister, Barbara Kester and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and many brothers and sisters.

Donald worked for the Ohio River Company for over 30 years retiring in 1978.

Donald loved the outdoors, fishing, yard work, squirrel feeding and watching at his home and the nursing home. He was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed helping his family and friends.

His graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2020 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate. A visitation will be held prior to the graveside services from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
