Born November 3, 1962 in Peoria to Donald Scoles and Sharon Faith (Smith) Stephens.
Surviving are one daughter, Heather Scoles; two grandchildren, Logan and Liam Gavel; two sisters, Julia Jones and Laura Herbig; one brother, Darryl Scoles; several nieces and nephews including, Josh, Krista, Dylan, Jacob and Shawn.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dale Scoles.
Donald was a Veteran of the United States Navy.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
