He was born September 16, 1954 to Donald and Phyllis (Kennedy) Casey.
Surviving is his ex-wife, Ginger Casey; sister-in-law, Sandy Casey of Walnut; his "sister-in-law-in-law", Debbie Cather of Pekin; one niece, Samantha, and two great nieces, Jose and Ali of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Greg Casey.
Donavan worked and retired as an IT specialist in Omaha, Nebraska.
He was an avid collector who enjoyed spending time with his cat Otis, his faithful companion.
There are no scheduled services. Cremation has been accorded to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory.
