Donna Lea Cluck

Born June 3, 1932 in Green Valley to Mark and Edith (Browder) Ashby, she married Guy W. Cluck on July 4, 1952 in Pekin. He died on May 17, 2001 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Lawrence Ashby, Shellie Ashby and Mark Ashby; two sisters, Catherine Ashby and Pauline Jean Hoover and several nieces and nephews.

Surviving are two daughters, Susan (Rick) Henke of Rochester and Sharon (Tom) Monn of Pekin; one granddaughter, Jennifer Fisher and her fiancé, Bill Dennis of Springfield; one great-grandson, Caleb Hulett; her sister-in-law, Carol Cluck and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was a 1952 graduate of Pekin Community High School.

Donna was a longtime member of Pekin Bible Church. She loved taking care of the babies in the nursery for almost 50 years. She also helped keep the church kitchen supplied and clean for 20 years. Donna attended the Ladies Bible Class and was a member of the Mary-Martha Circle, both at the church.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Chad Nightingale will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
