"Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy." Tim and Tom, your mother was one of the happiest people I had the privilege to know. Even in her darkest days and in immense pain, she had a smile for someone else to ease their pain. During your mom's services, I was in Michigan visiting Beth and her family for their spring break. However, I was with Donna and you in prayer and spirit. I will never forget her. I am honored and blessed to call her my friend. My love and peace to you, jo hinkle

Tim and Tom--I've been teaching at Spring Lake School now for 35 years (Tim,I was fortunate to have you in third grade; Tom, I'm sorry I didn't have the pleasure of having you in class.)I remember your mother so well at Parent/teacher conferences, Christmas programs, and all other school events. She was always so friendly and cheerful and truly loved experiencing school activities with you boys. I specifically remember at one Halloween costume party that we had when you, Tim, had been in a bicycle mishap and had quite a shiner. She dressed you as a boxer and had you wear a sign..."you should see the other guy." Got a lot of laughs. My thoughts are with you both.
