Doris J Arnold

Born April 17, 1929 in Peoria to Clarence and Stella (Harmon) Hastings, she married Allen Arnold on February 15, 1958 in East Peoria. He died January 31, 1985. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Wade Joos; and one brother, Brant Williams.

Surviving are one daughter, Lisa (Rod) Joos of Marquette Heights; one son, Dale (Debi) Arnold of Washington; three granddaughters, Maria Gore of Florida, Laura (Derek) Stockle of Ellsworth, and Olivia Arnold of Washington; and three great-grandsons, Ricky Gore, Christian Gore, and Tyler Stockle.

There will be a gathering celebrating her life from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014 at her daughter’s home, 615 Joliet Road in Marquette Heights. Per Doris’ wishes, there will be no services and cremation will be accorded.

Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
