

Born in Anna to Curtis and Faye (Gurley) Jones. She first married Robert Lamer in Hannibal, Missouri. She later married Walter “Doll” Evans in 1964 in Pekin. He died in 1996. She then married Fred Hall on January 18, 1997 in Pekin.
Surviving are her husband; 1 daughter, Becky (Vernon) Doubet of Pekin; 1 son, Roger (Carla) Lamer of Pekin; 2 step-daughters, Valerie (David) Rozanski Of Decatur and Vonda (Ron) Lamb of Mt. Zion; 1 step-son, Anthony (Stephanie) Hall of Decatur; 6 grandchildren; several step grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 43 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her dogs, Bentley and Ziggy.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and 1 sister.
Dorothy was a cosmetologist, working out of her homes in Pekin and Marquette Heights.
She attended Pekin First Church of God.
Dorothy enjoyed BINGO, camping, traveling, knitting and was a loyal St. Louis Cardinals fan and a loving mother, grandmother, and wife.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Rev. Josh Beutow will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
