Born February 14, 1910 in Trenton, New Jersey to Frank and Marie (Gillen) Zeis, she married Robert Watson Winston on September 10, 1933 in Trenton, New Jersey. He died July 21, 1999 in East Peoria. She was also preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.
Surviving are one son, Patrick Henry (Karen Ann Prendergast) Winston of Concord, Massachusetts; and one granddaughter, Sarah Madeleine Winston of Concord.
Mrs. Winston had been a member of the East Peoria Women's Club for more than 50 years and also had belonged to the Optimist Club. She was of the Catholic faith.
Graveside services were held Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Deacon Ernie Whited of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin officiated.
