John was a good friend and a very good physician.  I missed his expertise when he retired and will greatly miss him now that he has passed.  We were in the same confirmation class at Grace Methodist Church in Pekin.  Our prayers go to his family.

There are so many things I remember about John. He was a wonderful guy. Lived and loved sports!  Too funny.  I will miss seeing him..

You taught me many valuable life lessons. I'll always be thankful for that, you were a special person and I'm glad to have had you in my life. You'll be greatly missed.

John was our eye doctor until he retired, His father Charles was our family doctor as well. We have known the family since John was a baby. In fact there was a long time joke between us, when David was born, we also had a daughter, and Charles and I decided that IF he had another boy and we had another girl, we would exchange one so that each of us had a son and daughter. However our daughter was born on my birthday, so we decided that it would not be a good idea. We looked on both John and David as an extended family. They both will be greatly missed. 

Thank you for the many wonderful memories of long ago.  Rest in peace

Deepest thoughts and prayers; John and I were classmates and friends since kindergarten and spent many summers in our youth playing baseball together.  When I was ever back in the Pekin area we talked or saw one another when we could.  The loss of a true gentleman and professional.  John, may you rest in peace. 

When I moved to Chicago you were the first person I met.  You didn't hesitate to offer the hand of friendship - and it became a friendship which was genuine and real.  Always there to lend an ear, to provide knowledge and advice.  You were not only my friend, but in so many ways, my mentor.  I will miss you very much.  Sleep well my friend 

Dear John,
When I broken my left Fibula in Bangkok, Thailand you visited me everyday in the hospital and offered me real friendship.  You are the true definition of a true friend in life.  I remember all the good times we had together in Bangkok.  I loved you as a friend and as a good soul.  This world would be better off if it had more people like you.
Good night my dear friend Doc John.  May god bless you in heaven.
