My heart goes out to the family of Ruth Bianchi.  She was an amazing woman.  To Gina: I'm so sorry. I can't even imagine the pain your going through, but I am here for you.  You're all in my thoughts and prayers.

 Even though I know Ruth is finally at rest, my heart is heavy with sadness. She was a one of a kind lady who meant so much to me.
So many memories I could literally write a book!She was not only my second mom, but also a good friend.
I will miss her sense of humor and caring ways for a long time to come.

We first met Ruth in 1949, the year she married a classmate and friend Ray Bianchi, not long after Ray and I were discharged by the U.S. Navy.
My wife, Bettye Schueler Ellinghausen and I moved from Pekin to Michigan in 1952 and we lost contact with Ray and Ruth until we met again at later reunions of Pekin High School Class of 1946.  She was still as pretty and niceas she was back in l949.  To our old friend Ray our deepest regrets - you had a sweet lady and we were saddened to spot her obituary in tonight's Pekin Daily Times website.  Don & Bettye Ellinghausen 7/12/2007

Prayers are being said for your family from Atlanta to Niceville, Fla. I can only wish you peace in your hour of need and leave you with my favorite quote about the journey your mother and wife has taken.
Love is stronger than death even though it can't stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love. It can't take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death.

Krista & family, We send condolences from Nashville, TN.  It is hard to believe so many years have gone by since we taught together in Pekin.  Like you, our life's journey has taken us far from our roots, but we remain connected through family and friends.  Though we cannot be there in person, know that we are thinking of you all during your time of mourning.  Keep your mom alive in your hearts by recalling the good times you spent with her. My Darling Sister, how i will miss her.
Though i am not near in miles, she was always close in my heart. To my neices and nephews may you all find comfort in knowing she is at last resting in peace. And to Ray who tended her with great love and care these last few years, when she needed you, you were there.
