She was born July 10, 1933 in Shoal Creek, to Kenneth William and Vera Madeline (Giovanetto) Olive.
Surviving are one sister, Ina Lee (Rev. Dr. Larry) Jost of Eagle River, Wisconsin; one brother, Terry L. (Irma) Bennett of Pinellas Park, Florida; and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step father, James Bennett; and one brother, Jerry Bennett.
Elaine was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin.
She worked as a toy orderer for McClellans in Pekin. She later worked for Maurie's in Pekin for 32 years, last working in August 2006.
Her graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2009at Glendale Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Dr. Larry Jost will officiate. There will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.
