

Born August 29, 1940 in Kampsville to John D. and Ileen Lucille (Whisman), she married Harry Lee Pryor on December 1, 1956 in Wrights. He survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Belinda L. (Stan) Marion of East Peoria, Susan L. (Troy) Short of Normal, Tonya L. (Bob Marion) Reiling of East Peoria, and Jodi D. (Tim) Gordon of Pekin; one son, Steven D. Pryor of Marquette Heights; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lyle D. (Irene) Cox of McMinneville, Tennessee and Lloyd A. (Debbie) Cox of Carriere, Mississippi; two sisters, Beulah A. (Richard) Harp of Hardin and Ellen L. Cox of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
In addition to being a homemaker, Elizabeth also worked as a Certified Nurse's Aid, a floral designer, and was the customer service manager at Michael's Arts & Crafts Store.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting, and floral design. She also loved traveling and loved her grandchildren.
Elizabeth was a member of the Greater Pekin 1st United Pentecostal Church in North Pekin.
Her funeral will be at 3 p.m.Sunday, August 3, 2008at her church. Pastor Huey Long will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield. Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
