

Born October 3, 1925 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to Alvin and Kathryn (Davis) McIntosh, she married Lynn Decker. He preceded her in death. She later married Robert Purcell. He died on September 4, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, John Radley; one brother; and two sisters.
Surviving are one son, Michael (Cathy) Decker of South Lake, Texas; three daughters, Linda (Clayton) Parker of Eagle Rock, Missouri, Patty (Kevin) Reynolds of Manito, and Sherry (Steve) Runge of League City, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, Rob Thorne, Chris (Diana) Parker, Cindy Mabrey, Megan Reynolds, Michelle (Tom) Duwaldt, Jared Reynolds, Jeremy (Michelle) Reynolds, Payton Decker, Parker Decker, Preston Decker, Lindsay (Jason) Wingate, Stephanie Runge, and Jessica Runge; twelve great-grandchildren including, Holden Mabrey, Kate Parker, Piper Reynolds, Maya Reynolds, and Libby Duwaldt; one brother-in-law, Raymond Schmitt of Peoria; and one sister-in-law, Judy McIntosh of Goreville.
Elizabeth was a member of the Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.
Elizabeth worked as a lunch lady at Edison Junior High School and C.B. Smith School, both in Pekin for thirteen years during the late 60's and early 70's. She also worked at the Economy Laundromat in Pekin.
She enjoyed playing bingo.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin.
