

Born July 4, 1928 in Burning Springs, KY to Joseph Bradley and Drucie (Hornsby) Rawlings, she married William Arthur Gordon, Jr. on June 11, 1949 in Bloomington. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Ray (Judy) Gordon of Pekin; three grandchildren, Jamie Lee Gordon of Corpus Christi, TX, Matt (Carrie) King of Farmington and Jennifer (Daryl) Selock of Arlington Heights; one step-grandson, Marc Rudolph; five great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild, Candice Rudolph; and one brother, William H. Rawlings, Sr. of Hopedale. She also leaves a daughter-in-law, Susan Gordon of Corpus Christi, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, James Michael Gordon in 2005; six brothers; five sisters; and one step-grandson, Craig Rudolph.
A homemaker, Estella had worked for Beich Candy in Bloomington prior to her marriage.
She enjoyed making ceramic dolls and was an active member of Living Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church in Peoria.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Paul Jenkins will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
