I loved talking to Gene about his job. He knew all about my neighborhood and the people who lived around. He shared some funny stories. I'm so glad to have met him at my job. I hope you all the best. I'm sorry I couldn't be there
Sincerely, April Johnson

So sorry for your loss. I remember, vividly, visiting his home with Pam many years ago and admiring his huge impatiens plantings. He sure was a super gardener, and grew a wonderful family as well.

What a pleasure to have know Gene as a neighbor and great friend. Linda and I enjoyed
our time and meals with Gene. The past few years we always kept in touch by phone
and were so glad to get to visit in person last September.

It was our pleasure to have known you Gene.

Please know we are thinking of you all.
Your Dad (and Mom) were good friends to our parents. They shared
many good times together.
Love from our families to yours.

I worked with Gene on the Pekin Police Department for nearly 20 years. He was not only one of my commanders, but also a very good friend. He was compassionate, encouraging, generous and tough as nails. He was a fearless warrior for ALL citizens of Pekin. He loved his job. He was my friend and I will miss him dearly. I'm sure he's patroling the streets Heaven as he did Pekin's Streets, only now he has Jesus at his side.

I have been proud to call Gene a friend since 1971. He was always someone who I could talk with and receive insightful knowledge. I felt like part of the Pruvost family from the first day I meet them. Gene has always been a very kind and giving person. May Gene rest in peace with Delores, Jean and his parents.
Blessing to the entire Family,
