
Creve Coeur ~ Eunice Tripp, 82, of Creve Coeur, passed away at 5:33 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Unity Point Health – Methodist.
She was born July 31, 1933 in Allies, Kentucky. She married Gordon Tripp on December 31, 1972 in Nevada. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Carolann (Richard) Burroughs of Creve Coeur and Pamela Kay (Celvie) Eason of Hinckley, Missouri; two sons, James H. (Sandra) Rankin of Yukon, Oklahoma and Corey (Holly) Tripp of Groveland.
Eunice was a former member of Glasford Baptist Church and was currently a member at First Baptist Church in Morton, where she enjoyed being involved with the church activities.
She had worked as a waitress and then later in housekeeping for the United States Postal Service for several years.
She enjoyed time spent volunteering as a troop leader for the Boys Scouts of America and the Girls Scouts. She was also an AWANA’s leader.
Her memorial service at 6 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Morton, with the ministers of the church officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
