

Born August 23, 1938, in Manito to Clifford and Ida (Forbes) Boyer, she married Charles "Chuck" Walter Flynn on October 11, 1958 in Pekin. He died June 29, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and one sister.
Surviving are one daughter, Tamra (Karl) Martin of O’Fallon, Missouri; one son, Charles "Chuck" (Tracie) Flynn II of Victoria; six grandchildren, Khristopger Martin, Kraig (Bonnie) Martin, Charles W. Flynn III, Cathy (Ryan) Sangalli, Tad (Liz) Epkins, TJ (Caitlan) Epkins; several great-grandchildren and one sister.
Evelyn was homemaker and was the world’s best mom. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing and her roses. Evelyn and her husband were in the National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame in Hayward, Wisconsin. She also won an award in the Pekin Daily Times for her ornamental cabbages.
Inurnment will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
