Frank James Edwards Jr.

He was born on June 11, 1956, in Canton, the son of Frank James and Norma Maxine (Ginger) Edwards, Sr. Frank married Cheryl Honsman in August of 1997. She preceded him in death on July 7, 2017. He later met his life partner Shirley Thompson Conroy in April of 2018. She preceded him in death on July 4, 2022.

Frank was also preceded by his parents and one grandson, Isihia

Leffew.

He is survived by two daughters, Shantell (Gervaciov Winston Malaga-Todo) Edwards of Leroy, Stacy (Steve) Keen of Pekin; six grandchildren, Chole Leffew, Logan (Taylor Wyatt) Brown, Broden (Sam Ziegenhorn) Brown, Aaron Keen, Josie Keen, James (Anja) Keen six great-grandchildren, Jiraiya Brown, Owen Brown, Zaiden Leffew, Deliah Wyatt, Gotham Volk, Madalynn Leffew and two brothers, Daniel (Julie) Edwards of Farmington and Michael (Carla) Edwards of Lewistown.

Frank was attending the First Baptist Church in Pekin. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, woodworking, traveling, going to auctions and thrift stores.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. Phillip Faneuf will officiate the service. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Home & Crematory of Pekin.
