

Born July 4, 1918 in Peoria to Frank and Matilda Reeves Booth, he married Mary Christine Daily on December 1, 1945 in Williamsfield. She survives.
Also surviving arenumerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Fred was employed by the City of Peoria as a heavy equipment operator for 30 years, retiring in 1984. Previously, he was an engineer for the Santa Fe Railroad, working out of Chillicothe.
He served in the United States Army during World War II.
He was a member of the Church of Christ in Havana and the National Model Railroad Association.
He enjoyed model railroading, fishing, and boating.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2005at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel, where visitation will be one hour before services. The Rev. Warren Hughes will officiate.Cremation will be accorded.
