

She was born February 14, 1993 in Peoria to Elmer Doman, Jr. and Stephanie Gianessi.
Surviving are her mother, Stephanie (Brian) Gianessi of Pekin; her father, Elmer (Janet) Doman, Jr. of Pekin; six siblings, Patricia Riley of Pekin, Austin (Ashley) Doman of South Pekin, Jaden Doman, Kayla and Kourtney Thompson, all of Pekin and Kyle York of Green Valley; her paternal grandparents, David and Janell of Pekin; maternal grandmother, Diane Gianessi of South Pekin and eight nieces and nephews, Layla Riley, River Riley, Xion Doman, Kai Doman, Maya Houston, Reyna Clark, Axel Clifford and Nova Bowen.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Donald and Rose Gianessi; paternal great-grandparents, Norma Bell, Dorothy Doman, Elmer Leroy and Freda Mae (Johnson) Doman; her paternal grandparents, Elmer Charles and Patricia I. Doman Sr.; three cousins, including Logan Hacker and Whitney Pearson; four great-uncles, Jack Doman, Jerry Lee, John Strope, Jim Strope and one great aunt, Jessie Lee.
She last worked at Missy’s Corner Café in Pekin.
Freda was a free spirit with a kind and loving soul, willing to help anyone. She loved to make people laugh and smile. She enjoyed drawing and being in the great outdoors. She was an adventurous spirit that is now flying high above us. Her beautiful smile and sweet spirit will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Her memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Jeff Leeman will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
A gathering celebrating Freda's life will be held following the memorial service at the Pekin Moose Family Center #916.
