I am forever grateful for this man.
He stepped up and saved my life when other Drs wouldn’t help due to my being uninsured. I would not be alive today if not for his insight and knowledge. May he Rest In Peace in heaven. Pekin has lost a truly great Doctor.

So sorry to hear of Docs passing. He was the kind of doctor that cared about his patients. If you were sick he would open his office on week-ends. My husband and I together have been his patients for over 25 years. There will not be another doctor like him. My prayers to the family, he will be missed.

Dr. Von Bun was a compassionate and immensely kind doctor. He saved lives and improved the quality of those lives. He truly was an advocate for his patients. We will remember the lively conversations with him that were peppered with wit and humor and always ended with him giving excellent care. He will be sadly missed by our family. It's difficult to think that we will never see him again. We send deepest condolences to his children and family members-especially Peter who was a wonderful addition to the office.

With sympathy,
Brian and Denise Hall and family

I am so sad to hear this. Dr vonBun was the only doctor I’ve been comfortable with for many, many years. He knew all about my problems & medications, without even looking things up. And….Peter ran that office the way it should have been run from the beginning. My wife used to go to Dr vonBun too, but she grew frustrated with the old nursing staff and left. She liked Dr and would have stayed had Peter been there before. I am in shock and upset to lose Dr vonBun and his knowledge. I was waiting to reschedule my appointment from 2 weeks ago and Dr had something he was going to help me with. My condolences to Peter, and to Freddy….and also to other family members. This is a huge loss for so many.
