Gary A Null

PEKIN ~ Gary Allen Null, 71, of 230 Court Place #704, passed away at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Pekin Manor.

He was born August 30, 1939 in rural Forest City to Walter Oliver and Margaret Gladys (Woodley) Null.  He was preceded in death by seven brothers.

Surviving are four brothers, Marlyn (Carmen) Null, Richard (Patricia) Null and Raymond Null, all of Pekin, and Ronald (Judy) Null of Ft. Collins, Colorado; two sisters, Rosalin (Gerald) Ritchie of Manito and Mary (Fred) Hyatt of Springlake.

Gary worked for Pekin Township and Roxy's Lanes.  He also had worked for Pekin Community High School as the janitor for many years.

Gray was a people person and he enjoyed fishing.  He also was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball and the Minnesota Vikings football teams.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.  Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
