He was born June 28, 1950 in Peoria to Lynn and Kathryn (Pribble) Howard. His parents and one sister, Nancy Howard Nichols preceded him in death.
Surviving are five siblings, Janice Howard Michael of Titusville, Florida, Randy Howard, Dianna Howard, Mike Howard and Karen Woiwode, all of Pekin.
Gerald was an accountant for many years at Herget Bank in Pekin. He also worked in the office at Kaufman Construction.
He loved his pets, drinking coffee, and playing computer games.
There are no scheduled services at this time. Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
