Born October 8, 1951, in East Peoria to George and Doris (Doering) Gladwell. Her parents preceded her in death as well as one daughter, Amanda Minder; one sister, Mona Inman; one brother, David Gladwell and her beloved dog, Tobey.
Surviving are three children, Kathy (Robert Benedict) Davis of Pekin, Jeremy (Rachel Putman) Minder of Canton, and Dustin Minder; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Lyle Gladwell of East Peoria and many nieces and nephews.
Before becoming a homemaker, Geraldine worked as a quality control specialist at Erickson Steel Co. in Pekin.
Geraldine loved spending time with her family at get-togethers and holidays. She was always enjoying nature by feeding the birds and squirrels, taking care of her flowers, going mushroom hunting and visiting her favorite parks. One of her favorite card games to play way Canasta.
There are no scheduled services at this time. Cremation has been accorded to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
