

Born April 23, 1913 in Piper City to George T. and HannahWeichman Clark, he married Mardelle A. Ottmuller on December 28, 1938 in Piper City. She died May 5, 1987 in Pekin. He also was preceded in death by two brothers.
Surviving are one son, Dr. Steven G. (Diane) Clark of Pekin; one daughter, Barbara M. (Dane) Hardt of Pekin; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeff) Pollman, NathanHardt, Christopher Hardt, Corey Hardt, Jeremy Clark, Benjamin Clark and Danielle Clark, all of Pekin; three great-grandchildren, Brandon Hardt, Braden Hardt and Wrigley Hardt and three sisters, Margaret (Eddie) Bork of Bloomington, Ruth Kerber of Chatsworth and AnitaKahn of Decatur.
He worked for Farm Services for more than 45 years, retiring in 1978 as the transportation manager over Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin.
Glenn was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin and its United Methodist Men. He had also served on the Finance committee at the church.
He was a 41 year member of Pekin Country Club. He also was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks1271 and Loyal Order of Moose 916, both in Pekinand the Tazewell County Farm Bureau.
An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2005at Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin. The Rev. Gary L. Ford will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2005 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2005at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
