He was born February 10, 1949 in Peoria to Herschel William “Joker” and Barbara Jean (Vance) Roberson.
Surviving are two sisters, Monica Whitman of East Peoria and Marilee Roberson of Utah and his good friend and caregiver, Joy Lindsey of Peoria.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Greg was in the United States Marine Reserves, enlisting directly after high school.
He had worked as a plaster and cement finisher for 20 years, retiring in 2014.
Harpo enjoyed socializing with his friends at Da Joint in Peoria.
There will be a gathering celebrating Greg’s life from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Da Joint, 1039 South Laramie Street in Peoria.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
