Hannah Marie Patterson

She was born on August 20, 1998 in Pekin to Christian Todd and Linda Marie (Montgomery) Patterson.

Hannah was a graduate of Pekin Community High School Class of 2016, where she was a 4-year varsity golf team member. She enjoyed music, playing golf, doing her hair and makeup.

She is survived by her children Oliver and Lorelei; her mother, Linda Patterson (Shawn Beecham) of Pekin; her father, Christian Todd Patterson of Groveland; her sister, Taylor Patterson (Britni Hamilton) of Chatham; grandmother, Diane Virginia Patterson of Groveland; several aunts and uncles, Steve (Maryann) Montgomery of Annapolis, Maryland, Sandy (Jim) Garls of Pekin, Glenn (Stephanie) Montgomery of South Pekin, Gary (Melody) Montgomery of Pekin, Karen Montgomery (Steve Osborne) of South Pekin, Danya (Jeff) Petty of Peoria, Cara Joy (Tim) Gentry of Groveland and Michael Payne, the father of her children whom she loved dearly. She leaves several cousins as well.

Hannah was preceded in death by her grandparents.

She was known for her quick wit, infectious laugh and beautiful smile that lit up the room. Her passion for helping others who suffered from mental illness was unwavering and she was always there to lend an ear to anyone suffering. She will be greatly missed by her family, her lifelong friends and especially her babies as we all try to navigate this life without her.

Her memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2026 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.

There will be no service following as Hannah will be coming home to her mother. Cremation will be accorded, and a celebration of Hannah’s life will be announced at a later date.
