Born June 24, 1974 in Evansville, Indiana to Harold L. and Mary (Brackett) Liggett, II, he married Angela Schraub on March 5, 2005 in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Mary Baize; his three sons, Garrett (Courtney Watkins) Liggett of Pekin, Clayton Liggett of Peoria and Connor (Hannah) Liggett of Normal; one granddaughter, Lilly Ann Liggett; and two sisters, Dorothy Liggett and Allison Liggett, both of Evansville, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Lloyd Liggett, II.
Buddy retired last August from L & L Auto Sales & Service in Carlock as an autobody collision technician after 15 years.
He enjoyed fixing cars, watching movies and TV like Gold Rush, and watching football and wrestling. He also played poker and video games with his sons.
He attended Pekin First Church of God.
There will be no services at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
